About DDI

Infrastructure begins with what information means.

Deliberate Data Infrastructure is a company constructing data foundations for organisations, software and intelligent systems.

The underlying work

Reliable context does not appear by itself.

Important information is often fragmented across systems, providers, schemas, identifiers and formats. The systems that consume it still need to know what it describes, how parts relate and where each position came from.

DDI works on that underlying structure. We arrange identity, meaning, context and access so information can remain understandable as it moves between sources and uses.

How we think

Complexity underneath. Clarity at the point of use.

  1. 01

    Start with meaning

Understand the objects, concepts, relationships and decisions the information must support before choosing its interface.

  2. 02

    Preserve context

Keep source positions, provenance and uncertainty visible instead of flattening differences into unexplained values.

  3. 03

    Design for use

Structure information so people, conventional software and intelligent systems can discover and apply it appropriately.

A company broader than one product

DDI constructs data infrastructure. V0 applies that position to the physical world.

V0 is a DDI product focused on physical-world data infrastructure. It resolves different source representations around persistent physical objects while preserving source attribution.

That is one concrete expression of DDI’s wider purpose: making complex information more reliable, structured, discoverable and usable.

A considered starting point

Bring us the information problem beneath the interface.

We can begin with what needs to be understood, connected or made usable.
